Ongoing Innovation

Mirroring Midtown Innovation

This three parcel property includes three of four corners at the intersection of Fannin and Rosalie Streets in Houston’s Midtown neighborhood. The properties include two retail and mixed-use buildings and a 20,000 square foot parking lot.

The Midtown neighborhood is halfway between downtown Houston to the north and the Texas Medical Center (TMC) to the south. Considered alone, the TMC is one of the ten largest business districts by number of employees (approximately 108,000) in the United States.

This three-parcel property is also less than a half-mile from a biotechnology “accelerator hub,” named the Ion located in a former Sears department store building. The Ion anchors a 16-acre specially designated Houston innovation district and is a venture capital and biotechnology collaboration between the TMC and Rice University.
This development is poised to improve as this innovation corridor grows over the next decade.
